Burning instructions: The first burn is the most important. Let the candle burn for at least 3-4 hours. Ensure the melt pool reaches the edge of the candle container before extinguishing. This will help to prevent a tunneling effect. Do not burn continuously for more than 4-5 hours. Your candle will get too hot.
Trimming the wick: Before lighting your candle, always trim the wick! This helps to stop any build up on the wick and encourages your candle to perform to it's best. It will avoid wild, out of control and dangerous flames, providing the cleanest and even burn possible. If you dont have a wick trimmer, you can use a scissor or nailclipper. Please be careful to not trim the wick too short. Trim the wick to about 0,5cm.
Candle safety: To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn your candle within sight. Avoid draughts, vibrations and keep out of the reach of children and pets. Never burn your candle on a delicate or non-heat resistant surface or near anything that can catch fire. See label on the bottom of the candle!
Candle cure: If your candle has the "I'm still curing" tag on, please burn any day after the cure date. Remove the tag before lighting. Cure time is the key to ensure a strong scent. If you burn your candle before it's cure date, it will burn fine but the fragrance throw won't be strong.
Whipped wax: The airy whipped wax, melts faster than the base; monitor the burn as the whipped wax is burning down; extinguish and trim the wick as needed to control the flame size, reduce soot and prolong the candle's life. Allow the first melt pool to cover the entire surface for an even burn and prevent tunneling. The first burn is the most important! The candle will act as a "normal" candle, after the whipped wax has melted. Trim the wick to about 0,5cm before each burn.
Again, control flame height by trimming the wick as/if needed. The whipped wax on top is airy/light and burns more quickly.
